Global Fashion Executive · New York
25 years building luxury menswear businesses at the intersection of brand vision, product leadership, and commercial execution.

Tasked directly by Chairman and CEO John D. Idol and Michael Kors with building Menswear into a $1 billion global category — a mandate that required creating an entire business from scratch inside a Women's Accessories-driven brand. Brand positioning, product vision, merchandising strategy, and commercial infrastructure all built where none had previously existed.
Served as the single point of product and commercial accountability across all Menswear categories — Ready-to-Wear, Tailored Clothing, Sportswear, Underwear, Footwear, and Accessories — spanning six channels: Wholesale, Retail, Outlet, Off-Price, Licensed Wholesale, and E-Commerce, globally across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Built the full licensing ecosystem from zero: Peerless Clothing, Herman Kay, Fossil Group, Luxottica, Centric Brands, PVH Corp., and others — establishing Michael Kors brand DNA across all partners. The underwear category was later insourced from PVH with a dedicated in-house team built from the ground up. Full P&L responsibility held in close partnership with Planning and Finance.
Strategic advisory for a creative agency working across lifestyle and multiple industries. Advising across brand positioning, business development, and commercial strategy, bringing executive-level perspective from leading global fashion houses to support the agency's growth and client work.
Reporting to the Chief Brand Officer, led the strategic transformation of global BOSS Menswear — the brand's largest and most complex category. Directed a 120-person-plus cross-functional organisation spanning Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Planning across all Menswear categories.
Defined and implemented a unified product and brand architecture across the full BOSS portfolio — Orange, Green, and Black — creating commercial clarity across all lines. Drove global seasonal planning, budget management, and IMU targets, improving margin performance and sell-through across international markets. Cross-category partnership with Procter and Gamble to align the BOSS fragrance offering with broader brand strategy.
Led the premiumisation of BOSS Selection — the pinnacle of the BOSS portfolio — across tailoring, sportswear, and Made-to-Measure. Repositioned the line as a globally coherent, commercially stronger premium proposition by redefining product architecture, brand direction, and assortment strategy. Full planning and IMU budget accountability, with improved profitability and accelerated go-to-market execution across all categories.
Selected to lead the strategic transition of Tommy Hilfiger Europe's tailored business in-house — restructuring product architecture, brand direction, and the operating model for tailored clothing across Europe. The appointment was covered by both WWD and Drapers.
Five-year rise through Hugo Boss — from Product Manager in BOSS Black (2004 to 2006), to Head of Creative and Product Management for BOSS Black Leather, Shoes and Accessories (2006 to 2007), to global product and brand strategy lead for BOSS Selection and Tailored Line (2007 to 2009). Full planning and budget ownership across RTW, Accessories, and Footwear.
Career built from the ground up at the finest houses in fashion. Client and product experience at Giorgio Armani in Hamburg (1997 to 2000) instilled an intimate understanding of luxury. Design under Calvin Klein in New York (2000 to 2001) and Jil Sander in Hamburg (2001) forged a minimalist, craft-led creative foundation.
